Apple Launches Faster Chips, MacBook Pro Laptops and Airpods
October 18th-Apple on Monday released two new chips built into more powerful MacBook Pro laptops and third-generation AirPod wireless earbuds. Paired with a new, cheaper monthly music streaming service.
The Cupertino, California-based company launched a new iPhone series more than a month ago and added more products in time for the holiday season.
The iPhone maker will have a monthly subscription plan for Apple Music for $4.99 and add bright colors to its HomePod mini.

Bigger and faster chip
Apple announced the launch of two new chips called M1 Pro and M1 Max, making them larger and faster than the previous M1 chips. These chips will help Apple improve the video processing capabilities of its computers while extending battery life.
“Mac is now a two-year transition to Apple chips, and M1 Pro and M1 Max represent another big step forward,” said Apple while continuing to move away from Macs using Intel chips.
MACBOOKS in new sizes, new cameras and new prices
Apple announced two new MacBook Pros equipped with the latest M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. The new notebook computer uses a new chassis design, Apple replaced the touch bar with a row of physical keys. These laptops for high-end creative professionals also equipped with a new 1080p camera.
The new Apple chip also helped the company expand the battery capacity of these new laptops. Apple claims that the 14-inch model will provide up to 17 hours of video playback, while the 16-inch model will play videos for up to 21 hours-adding 7 hours and 10 hours of battery life to the new laptop.
The new 14-inch MacBook Pro models start at $1,999, and the basic 16-inch MacBook Pro models start at $2,499. The high-end 16-inch MacBook Pro price at US$6,099.
Cheaper AIRPODS with some advanced features
Apple introduced the third version of its popular AirPods. The new earbuds start at $179 and have some features shared with high-end AirPods Pro. The new AirPods will be equipped with spatial audio, longer battery life and a new design.
AirPods and AirPods Pro will equipped with MagSafe charging cases-enabling customers to use magnetic wireless chargers to charge their earbud cases. The basic AirPods have reduced in price and are now priced at $129 in the United States.
The new laptops and earplugs will ordered online from Monday and will be available in stores on October 26th.
