Online advertising market will expand in 2020
Beijing-According to the latest Internet development statistics report, by 2020, China’s Internet advertising market will expand to nearly 500 billion yuan (approximately US$77 billion), a year-on-year increase of 14%.
This number marks the third consecutive year that market growth has slowed.
According to a report released by the China Internet Network Information Center, the market share of Internet advertising through mobile devices was 85% last year, up from 70% in 2018.
The report pointed out that major opinion consumers (KOC) or consumers who can influence their friends, fans and generate consumer behavior are rebuilding the Internet marketing communication chain and increasing advertising. Now, China’s social network platform has become the location of many KOCs. These KOCs have attracted customers of different brands and have seen their advertising value gradually emerge.
