China strongly opposes the revoking of the telecommunications license by the U.S.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said on Wednesday; strongly opposes the decision of the US government to revoke the license of China Telecom Americas. It will take necessary measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a statement on its official website stating that China Telecom Americas has been operating in the United States for nearly 20 years.
