Amazon Turkey, in a statement today, announced the new appointment delivery feature available in our country.
Amazon, the world’s largest digital marketplace, recently announced that it will lay off 18,000 employees, making the largest mass layoff in its history. It has also emerged that it has developed an application only on sports content on its platform, which is trying to rival Netflix with Amazon Prime.
Today, Amazon Turkey officials announced the “Delivery by Appointment” feature, which is available for the first time in Turkey. Thanks to this feature, you will be able to receive your cargo on the day you want, at the time you want.
As a member of Amazon Prime for only 7.90 TL per month, you can watch Amazon Prime Video content including free shipping on your Amazon shopping, access to all free games with Prime Gaming, special discounts and the Lord of the Rings series.
Delivery by appointment will be free to Prime members
The appointment delivery system, which will be commissioned in 35 provinces at the first stage, allows users to receive their cargo at any time between 08:00 and 22:00, 6 days a week. Users living in the provinces and districts where the feature is available can choose the delivery by appointment option at the checkout and choose the day and time they want their cargo to be delivered to them. Non-Prime members who want to use this feature, which Amazon Prime members can enjoy free of charge, will have to pay an additional 14.90 TL per appointment delivery. Also, this feature will only be available on products shipped by Amazon.
Of course, delivery times may vary depending on the distance of the regions where the service is offered to Amazon’s warehouse in Gebze. When you select the scheduled delivery option during the order, you can see the earliest delivery time for your cargo.
This system, which is currently used in the USA and many European countries, seems to make those who do not want to wait for cargo at home all day very happy.
